Until then, you are stuck with just a few models to choose from if you aren't looking for a truck. Most of these will be used vehicles. Visit our diesel vehicle guide to help you with your decision. This is probably your best resource is you live in western NC. You can buy this paper all over town. The online version allows you to buy the iwanna for other regions within a quick drive to Asheville, such as Hickory and Greenville.

Vehicles are posted through email periodically. This forum will definitely fill your inbox with lots of biofuels related information.

eBay Motors
A good place to look. Like AutoTrader it has search functions that make it easy to look for diesel vehicles although you might pay through the nose.
Ebay can be a great place to purchase a vehicle. Be sure to check the sellers feedback to make sure they are reputable. Most auctions don't require you to pay for the whole vehicle. Generally, a deposit is paid to hold the vehicle until you can inspect it yourself.

Excellent resource for vehicles all over the country. This site also allows you to look up the value of a vehicle. Remember, diesel vehicles are often more valuable than the Blue Book Value will predict due to an underground demand for diesel vehicles due to biodiesel and veggie oil fuel. Be a smart purchaser and never pay for a car until you see it and have the title in your hand.

Go to the city that you're in, and cars & trucks, then enter diesel as a search word. Comes up with plenty of things.
Fred's TDI Club
A good site dedicated to Volkswagen TDI's.
Cars Direct
Okay for searching because they don't allow for fuel distinction and you can only search for vehicles up to 200 miles from any zip code.
Greasecar classifieds
Lists 1 or 2 used diesel's per day.
BiodieselNow classifieds
Mercedes Shop
Check the "for sale" section and the regular diesel discussion board because they both contain cars and equipment for sale.

A decent place to find full sized diesel trucks and vans.
European Motorsport
A source for BRAND NEW complete VW TDI engines.

A good place to look for used diesel school buses.
BuySell.com
A Canadian site with a search for diesels and will give you a breakdown of vehicle types. Evidently, they have tons of Toyota pickups as well as other makes, and many Landcruisers. The Landies are listed under "import SUV."
Car Soup
A compilation of many dealers listing their vehicles, but sometimes you'll find a good deal from a private party. Includes a lot of refined search options such as price, fuel, distance.
