The National Biodiesel Board The National Biodiesel Board (NBB) is the national trade association representing the biodiesel industry in the United States. Biodiesel is a domestic, renewable fuel for diesel engines derived from natural oils like soybean oil, and which meets the specifications of ASTM D 6751.

North Carolina Biodiesel Association The North Carolina Biodiesel Association is an advocacy group of North Carolina based biodiesel producers that are focused on producing renewable, clean burning biodiesel based fuel for use here in North Carolina. Our primary focus is to raise awareness about the biodiesel industry, it’s struggle in North Carolina and the United States to establish itself as a mainstream motor fuel and fuel oil alternative.

 

Alternative Fuels and Advanced Vehicles Data Center The Alternative Fuels and Advanced Vehicles Data Center provides a wide range of information and resources to enable the use of alternative fuels in addition to other petroleum reduction options such as advanced vehicles, fuel blends, idle reduction, and fuel economy. This site is sponsored by the US Department of Energy's Clean Cities initiative.

Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition The Clean Vehicles Coalition is a Clean Cities program of the Land of Sky Regional Council in the Western North Carolina area. We were designated by the US DOE on July 26, 2012 as an official Clean Cities program for the five county area surrounding Asheville including Buncombe, Henderson, Haywood, Madison and Transylvania counties.

Biofuels Center of North Carolina The Biofuels Center of North Carolina’s long-term task is to develop a statewide biofuels industry to reduce the state's dependence on imported liquid fuels. The goal is to replace 10 percent of the state’s liquid fuel consumption – or about 600 million gallons – with locally grown and produced biofuels by 2017. Filling up with locally grown and manufactured biofuels blends will allow citizens to empower not just their vehicles, but also the North Carolina economy. The Center is a private non-profit corporation primarily funded by the North Carolina General Assembly.

Local B100 Biz Yahoo Group Devoted to those interested in biofuel related businesses or groups. Topics include biofuel regulatory issues, ways to promote biofuel, and ways to run a successful business.

Iowa State University Biodiesel Website Hosted by the Mechanical Engineering Department at ISU and devoted to educating the biodiesel industry, this site includes a free online course, as well as a page of technical papers that cover many aspects of commercial biodiesel and high-FFA oil processing.

Frybrid Forums Frybrid is a company that sells an SVO conversion kits to convert your diesel car to run on "straight vegetable oil". They host a great set of forums participated by several people where all things SVO is discussed.
