Biofuels Center of North Carolina The Biofuels Center of North Carolina’s long-term task is to develop a statewide biofuels industry to reduce the state's dependence on imported liquid fuels. The goal is to replace 10 percent of the state’s liquid fuel consumption – or about 600 million gallons – with locally grown and produced biofuels by 2017. Filling up with locally grown and manufactured biofuels blends will allow citizens to empower not just their vehicles, but also the North Carolina economy.

Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition The Clean Vehicles Coalition is a Clean Cities program of the Land of Sky Regional Council in the Western North Carolina area. We were designated by the US DOE on July 26, 2012 as an official Clean Cities program for the five county area surrounding Asheville including Buncombe, Henderson, Haywood, Madison and Transylvania counties.

Peak Energy Formerly Haywood Oil, this locally-owned company started delivering Bioheat for Blue Ridge Biofuels in December 2014. We are also co-located with Peak Energy at our Asheville headquarters on New Leicester Hwy.

Waste Reduction Partners Waste Reduction Partners, a team of highly experienced staff and volunteer retired engineers, architects and scientists, provides North Carolina businesses and institutions with waste and energy reduction assessments and technical assistance. WRP services are typically grant-sponsored or supported through technical service contracts to provide technical assistance to its clients at no-cost. All services are nonregulatory and confidential. The WRP mission is to work for a sustainable economy, healthy environment, and better quality of life throughout North Carolina.
